1083It was the middle of winter where the trees blew hard and reckless and I was told to go to the corner store for groceries. Before living the house I had to make a detailed list for mother and make sure I had enough money to purchase these items. On this list were the following: eggs, milk, cake pans, butter, cheese, orange juice, water, 1lb sugar, and salt, chicken legs, turkey, pie crust, and collard greens. After receiving this list from mother I headed down the rocky road full of rocks and dirt. It was a long walk but I’ve come accustomed to the walk. Upon arriving to the store I proceeded to count the money for these particular items and I counted $30.00. There in the store the eggs were $1.50, milk 2.50, cake pans 0.50, butter $2.50, cheese $1.50,. As the accurate total appeared on the cash register I saw it was $23.60 I need to pay the young man that was my cashier for today.
